CANDLE CARE:
- FIRST LIGHT:
- For optimal scent diffusion and an extended candle life, the first burn must be long enough for a full melt pool to to be created.
- Candle wax has "memory," so if it is extinguished with a partial melt pool, that will prevent a full, even pool from forming in the future. This is call "tunneling."
- THE WICK:
- Center and trim your wick to 1/4" (mm) prior to each lighting.
- Use wick trimmer for best results.
- STORING:
- Store candles flat in a cool, dark, and dry place.
- Do not allow wick trimmings, dust, or other materials to accumulate in the wax pool.
- BURNING:
- Optimal burn time is 2-3 hours, NO more than 4.
- Ensure that your candle is placed on a heat-safe surface.
- Avoid drafty areas.
- Never burn candles unattended, or on/near anything flammable.
- Keep out of reach from children and pets.
- EXTINGUISHING:
- Do not blow out candles, this could cause wax to spray out of the vessel.
- If using a lid, quickly extinguish the flame and remove lid until smoke has dissipated. Leaving the lid on could cause soot to settle at the top of your candle.
- Use a candle snuffer or wick dipper for best results.
